The TUFFTREK® SPEEDWING MAX 270° Self-Supporting Awning is our largest vehicle awning, delivering approximately 13m² of shelter around the side, rear and towards the front of your vehicle.
Despite its large 270° footprint, the SPEEDWING MAX packs down to just 2 metres long making it suitable for short to medium length vehicles.
Designed for 4x4s, campervans, pick-ups and overland vehicles, its double-wing design opens both forwards and backwards to maximise usable shelter while still packing down to a compact 2m closed length.
Setup takes 30 seconds, with integrated drop-down legs, dimmable LED lighting and rain peaks built directly into the awning arms.
Add a Wall Pack to transform the awning from an open shelter into a much more protected camp space.
Standard Straight Drop wall system 3x layer window panels, plain panels and a door panel, together with unique internal flank walls designed to help close the gaps around the side and rear of your vehicle.
The result is greater privacy and significantly more protection from wind and changing weather — ideal for longer stays, family camping and overland travel.
Uniquely you can also choose from our TAPERED SIDE Wall Pack designed to come away at 45 degrees, offering much more space internally, although you lose the 3x layer side windows in favour of 2x layer.

You can use a pair of ccross roof load bars so long as they are strong enough to take the stress and strain a self supporting awning can exert.
The max height for the Speedwing is 2.1 to 2.2m due to the length of the legs.
