The TUFFTREK® SPEEDWING MAX 180° is a premium self-supporting wing awning designed for campervans, 4x4s, SUVs and overland vehicles. Offering approximately 8m² of sheltered living space, integrated dimmable LED lighting and premium ripstop polycotton canvas, it creates a comfortable outdoor living area in under 30 seconds.

Ideal for Vans & Campervans with Rear Tailgates

SPEEDWING MAX 180° is particularly well suited to cars and adventure vans where unrestricted rear access matters. Its 180° design provides generous shelter along the side of your vehicle while allowing a large lift-up rear tailgate to open and act as additional shelter at the back.

This makes it a great awning option for vehicles such as the VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes Vito, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro and Toyota Proace, subject to your individual roof rack, as well as the Discovery 3,4 and 5 models, Land Cruiser models etc.

Designed specifically for vehicles with rear tailgates or Lifting rear door  the SPEEDWING MAX 180° provides generous shade and weather protection without restricting access to the rear of your vehicle.

If you don't have a lifting rear tailgate then you may prefer the extra space of the SPEEDWING MAX 270.

Installation

The TUFFTREK® SPEEDWING MAX 180° is designed to mount securely to compatible roof racks or heavy-duty roof bars using the supplied mounting brackets and fitting kit.

Suitable for:

• Roof racks

• Heavy-duty roof bars

• Canopy rack systems

• Expedition roof platforms

Not compatible with standard roof rails running front to back without 2x strong cross bars, mininum recommended spacing 1.6m apart.

FAQs

• Is the SPEEDWING MAX 180° self-supporting? Yes. The awning is self-supporting in normal weather conditions. In stronger winds, we recommend deploying the integrated support legs and using the supplied guy ropes and pegs.

• How long does setup take? The awning can typically be fully deployed by one person in less than 30 seconds.
