The Odyssey is very low weight (59 kg without ladder etc) and can easily be installed by two people. It is perfect for a couple or a small family, with space for two adults and one child. The large 360-degree panoramic windows and built-in storage net in the ceiling provide a spacious and practical experience.
The rooftop tent is designed to withstand even the most extreme environments and delivers maximum comfort with a 6.5 cm High-Density mattress. It features blackout blinds, mosquito nets, and a new rear window specifically developed for Nordic climates. Additionally, the rooftop tent includes a built-in LED light with a USB rechargeable lithium battery and a solar-powered ventilation system.
The rooftop tent is made of durable All Season Touring fabric from the specialist Ten-Cate and has an extra UV-treated shell. This makes the rooftop tent waterproof, breathable, insulating, dirt-repellent, and highly weather-resistant. The fabric can easily be replaced in case of damage. The rooftop tent is one of the easiest tents to open and close – it takes just one minute.
The ODYSSEY has a unique front lip locking method, giving an excellent weather proof seal - please ensure you read the instructions before use and also make sure the front is properly interfaced before attempting to drive.

Installations:
- James Baroud Roof Tents (medium) can be mounted to many flat racks, but if using roof bars you require roof bars with a minimum length of 1350mm length and a minimum spacing of 700mm between them
- They should have a dynamic load rating of 75kg plus
- For serious off-roading conditions we would suggest 3x or 4x load bars to ensure adequate support
