Warranty Policy

TUFF-TREK® LTD – WARRANTY POLICY

TUFF-TREK® pride ourselves on offering great roof tents, awnings and 4x4 accessories. Our products have been sold and used by our customers since 2013 with agreat record for quality and affordability.

1. Overview

TUFF-TREK® LTD warrants that TUFF-TREK® branded roof tents and awnings are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

2. Warranty Period

Main Components – 24 Months

Coverage applies to:

  • Structural frames, hinges, base panels

  • Main fabric, seams, and rainfly

  • Fixed poles and framework

High-Wear Components – 12 Months

Coverage applies to:

  • Zips, buckles, straps

  • Ladders and ladder mechanisms

  • Clips and moving parts

3. What is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only arising during normal use.

Where a valid claim is accepted, TUFF-TREK® LTD may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product

  • Supply replacement parts

  • Replace the product

  • Offer a refund where appropriate

4. What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear or ageing

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, fading, staining)

  • UV degradation or weathering

  • Accidental damage or impact

  • Misuse, neglect, or improper care

  • Incorrect fitting or unsuitable vehicle/roof setup

  • Overloading of product or vehicle

  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs

  • Storage damage (including mould or mildew)

  • Commercial, hire, or non-standard use

5. Weather & Use (Important)

Roof tents and awnings are outdoor products and must be used appropriately.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Wind, storms, or extreme weather

  • Snow loading or environmental conditions

Awnings must always be secured using poles, guy lines and pegs where required and must not be left unattended in changing conditions.

6. Claims Process

To make a claim, please make contact with our team using the email address support@tuff-trek.com

We will ask you to provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or video evidence

TUFF-TREK® may request inspection or return of the product before approving a claim.

7. Returns & Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return costs unless agreed otherwise.

  • TUFF-TREK® will cover delivery of approved repairs or replacements within mainland UK

8. Liability

TUFF-TREK® LTD’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including travel or vehicle damage.

9. Consumer Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
