The Tuff-Trek® Pro-Ruggedised 1.4m Soft-Top Roof Tent is a heavy-duty, expedition-ready roof tent designed for serious touring and overlanding. Built for durability, comfort, and long-term use, it’s an ideal solution for couples or small families looking for a tough, reliable soft-top roof tent with generous internal space.

Constructed using thick 320 g ripstop polycotton canvas and a reinforced HD aluminium tread-plate base, the Pro-Ruggedised is engineered to handle demanding environments and extended trips. The soft-top design allows for a wide sleeping platform while remaining practical for vehicles with suitable roof load ratings.

Inside, the tent features a 70 mm high-density foam mattress with a washable cover, an anti-condensation mat, and multiple internal storage pockets. Large doors and windows with integrated insect mesh and privacy covers provide excellent airflow and ventilation in warm or humid conditions.

Setup is quick and straightforward thanks to the fold-out design, opening into a spacious sleeping area in minutes. A black telescopic ladder provides safe and comfortable access, while the low-profile 1000D PVC travel cover protects the tent during transport and keeps overall height to a minimum.

For longer stays or base-camp use, the Pro-Ruggedised can be paired with an optional fully sealed lower annex room, creating additional enclosed space for changing, storage, children, guests, or pets.

The Tuff-Trek® Pro-Ruggedised Roof Tent is available with or without an optional fully sealed lower annex room. This large, bell-shaped annex is ideal for extended trips, offering sheltered space for getting changed, storing gear, accommodating children or guests, or housing pets.

Please note: The annex room is designed to work with mounting heights of 170–210 cm.
