Designed specifically for the TUFFTREK® Kalahari-X, these heavy-duty mounting brackets provide a simple and secure way to attach compatible awnings, shower cubes and other accessories directly to the side of your roof tent.
Using the integrated mounting channels in the Kalahari-X aluminium base, the brackets create a strong mounting point without requiring a separate roof-rack mounting position.

Compatibility
Designed for use with the TUFFTREK® Kalahari-X Hard Shell Roof Tent and compatible accessories.
These brackets can be used to provide mounting points for products such as:
Important: Accessory size, weight and mounting-hole positions vary between manufacturers. We do not recommend mounting anything more than 24kg on teh side of teh roof tents.
These brackets DO NOT work with the new KALAHARI-X MAX roof tent due to different slot patterns.

Installation
The brackets attach to the integrated mounting channel in the aluminium base of the Kalahari-X.
Their position can be adjusted along the mounting rail to suit the fixing points of the accessory being installed.
Professional installation is also available from our East Sussex workshop.

Can I mount an awning directly to my Kalahari-X?
Yes. These brackets are designed to create mounting points directly from the Kalahari-X aluminium base, allowing compatible awnings to be attached without needing to mount them separately to your vehicle's roof rack.
Can I use them for a shower cube?
Yes. They can be used for compatible shower cubes as well as awnings and other suitable accessories.
Will they fit any awning?
Not necessarily. Awning dimensions, fixing positions and weights vary between manufacturers. Contact us with the make and model of your awning if you're unsure.
Are these the brackets for the Kalahari-X rear awning?
No. The dedicated TUFFTREK® Kalahari-X Rear Awning attaches directly to the tent's rear flysheet and does not require these brackets.
Can TUFFTREK® install them for me?
Yes. We can install the brackets and compatible accessories at our East Sussex workshop.
