James Baroud Roof Tent Space

Description

The James Baroud Space XL hard shell roof tent is crafted with considerable extra height. It’s ideal for overlanders and car or van campers who appreciate spending quality time in their car top tent and want quick setup but extra space at the feet end.

With 50cms headroom at the front and 145 cms at the rear the Space roof top tent allows for an adult to sit upright at the rear of the tent. You can have a bit of a stretch or perhaps get changed.

The innovative new raked roof profile also increases air circulation through the tent. The larger doors and windows providing fantastic cross flow ventilation. For extreme conditions ventilation can also be assisted by the solar powered ventilation system, which comes standard on this model.
Another innovation for the Space is fixed storage pockets that run the width of the tent. This feature puts your personal items in easy reach of your sleeping position. The handy ceiling storage net is still a standard feature of this model as well as well as the solar vent and light inside!

FITTING NOTES:

James Baroud Roof Tents (medium) can be mounted to many flat racks, but if using roof bars you require roof bars with a minimum length of 1350mm length (medium, or 1600mm for XL) and a minimum spacing of 700mm between them. They should have a dynamic load rating of 75kg plus.

For serious off-roading conditions we would suggest 3x or 4x load bars to ensure adequate support.
